You’ll be fishing with Capt. Gaige and his crew from a 42’ Merritt (Flybridge) Sport fisher, originally built in 1968. A true classic that has been beautifully restored. Salon is equipped with air conditioning and designed for plenty of comfort. Boat is powered by two 480HP engines, and has the latest in electronics.

Not only will you be comfortable on our vessel, but she’s equipped with the latest in electronics gear and safety equipment.

Quality Fishing Gear

All of the fishing gear we use on the Kona Cowboy is IGFA (International Game Fishing Association) qualified, so if you catch the REALLY big one it will be official!Our reels are only the best made. We fish Shimano Tiagra reels, paired with quality rods and tackle.
